Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted February 7, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2023 Hello everyone, Thanks for being so kind to ask about our situation here. We have felt the earthquake in our region which is 800 KM away from the center of the disaster. We are fine, but unfortunately many lives are lost and the number is increasing. This is one of the biggest disasters Turkey has faced in past 100 years. 🙏 3

mikromundo
**The RadCORE project is passing on Wise's contact information to anyone who wants and can help the victims of the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria.** Donate without paying fees to help earthquake victims Powerful earthquakes hit southeastern Turkey early on Monday, leaving large-scale destruction and rubble in the region. The situation is devastating and the inhabitants need urgent help. We are making donations available free of charge to help disaster victims and contribute to earthquake relief efforts. The transfer fee will not be charged when sending to the following organizations: UNHCR - The United Nations Refugee Agency is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees and forcibly displaced communities. Save the Children - Is one of the world's leading organizations for children and exists to help them have a chance for a better future. It operates in 118 countries, including the UK, and helps with children's safety, health and access to education. AHBAP - Founded in 2017, AHBAP is a Turkish charitable organization currently gathering donations to help everyone affected by the earthquake. No matter where you are in the world, with Wise you can send a donation of up to GBP 500 (or currency equivalent) to UNHCR or Save the Children and the transfer fee will temporarily not be charged. If you want to donate to AHBAP, you can send up to 2,000 TRY per transfer free of charge. Should you wish to donate more than 500 GBP or 2,000 TRY, that is also possible. You will only need to create one transfer at a time, as we cannot discount rates on amounts above these limits. Yours sincerely, Wise's team donate now To make a donation, follow the steps below. 1 Access your Wise account First, access your Wise account and click on the ""Beneficiaries"" tab. two Find the "Donations" section Scroll down and you will see the “Donate” option. 3 Select the charity Click ""Make a difference"" and select the organization you want to help. 4 enter the value Enter the amount you wish to donate and make payment as you normally would. 5 Review the transfer and confirm that fees have not been charged You will see that fees are withdrawn on the final review screen of your transfer.
