elGringo
Hi, found mORMot and EntityDac(from DevArt) Do you use any ORM and which? How is it compatible to UNIGUI? Regards....
mhmda
My friend use TMS Aurelius for ORM. I personally use mORMot but it hard to understand and it's extremely fast as RESTful API Service.
elGringo
hi, Mohhammed, thnks for the answer, say, is it compatible to UniGUI? i've read it has its own js generator for client side, smth like "mustche" or like this it has more 2000 pages in docs... just started reading, what main points would you emphasize from your experience? mhmda
I used it in a web service as RESTful API and it works the way like noSQL with mySQL. I didn't use it along with unigui. You can ask my friend http://forums.unigui.com/index.php?/user/1329-mohammed-nasman/ he used it with unigui project. There is a good book about mormot: https://www.amazon.com/Enterprise-Delphi-Databases-2nd-Elevate/dp/1542817544
elGringo
thanks. From what i read on forums - ORM is good for simple/middle tasks. But if task is complicated it is easier to work with SQL directly. As i understand main idea of ORM - to speed up development by automation or routine. rgreat
It is nearly always better to work with SQL directly.
