  1. Same thing here... It was working properly until 3 moths ago. Then, this is happening. A traced to problem with the way it handled the amount value. Note that in the example they don't have fractions. So, a made a workaround it. But now it stopped working altogether.

PS: Hayri Aslan, see the message I sent you yesterday, please.

the linux option came, but you can count on the fingers of a whale the current users of unigui who are going to use this feature. if the justification and the cost of licensing windows, it doesn't make any sense to use linux, having a higher delphi license to use linux already discourages anyone.
it would only make sense if it were possible to use lazarus, then we would be free from delphi and its pricing policy

    The simple truth !
I would say that this is really some hipster fetishism approach to linux programming. Linux is done ... I mean, like "long done". Windows will have the same fate in near future. Even MS knows that. Edge is showing the shape of thing to come. They simple gave up on mobile, then browsers now.

uniGUI for Lazarus and PWA format. (Chanting: "And the little red book")

Millennial won't get the joke !

  4. Your browser can do that out of the box ? Nope ?

    "No can do" !

By out-of-the-box I mean no external libs/extensions/javalet-is/serverlet mutant ninja. If you have to install something additional, is not a very practical solution. Further more it always demand a some kind of USB gadget. Is more a browser issue. If your device installs all that and enables the browser to connect, just get the JS lib and get the party started.

  5. For me (Delphi->Linux) is too little too late ! 10 years ago, that would make sense. Any Kylix fans alive and kicking ?

We are already moving away from those OS (windows and linux). And why should I lost all the VCL options, my precious "messy legacy" code,  when deploying to Linux ? Cloudserver price per OS makes no sense today as it would make a big dent 10 years ago when that should be a good reason (and the only one).

    And good luck "printing"  !

PS: I know about FastReport and Linux. But got a lot of projects with QR and RB and no need to waste time since no new project demands Linux-is OS from the start. So why bother and waste my old vcl code ? Again... too little to late.

PS2: You run Delphi in Windows. You need to master a Linux flavor before try that. A lot of Delphi programmer are too busy mastering uniGUI, HTML, CSS , JS,  Web deployment and add that task to the list for no practical reason.

But that is just me and the simple fact that I'm more than 40 years old ! Way more !

  6. Simple rule folks: the biggest you app the more specific it gets ! And uniGUI does a pretty good job already avoiding such a hurdle that is still very present in other platforms and frameworks. Take my word here !

Why Facebook website don't give the same experience (via mobile) as the app for their mobile version ? Don't you know they got their own JS framework and thousands of programmers ? Why THEY don't get it done with all that resource and workforce ? Simple ! Its not meant to be ! Mobile is one thing and desktop another. See your mobile APP as complementary to your desktop app. This is a golden rule for ERP-is, CRM-is apps. Need more ? Your using the wrong tool. Get back to VCL and FMX.
If you are trying to do the same things in both, good luck with that, write a book and make some courses because you're in the way to be millionaire very soon. No framework in the market will give such solution in one package and out-of-the-box. NONE.

Further more, not even Google does that: Flutter is for mobile. The desktop versions is not even in beta  and will be a lot different. Just ask yourself: why they are not using JS+HTML+CSS if is a "solution-fits-all" scenario ?

See also Google and Youtube: you got a lot of versions of the same app across a lot of devices. Even devices that has internet connectivity as smarttvs. See twitter and their App. Don't even want to mention TikTok that everybody is  in copycat mode ! Take a look in their desktop version: it sucks ! Is a mobile app only and social network focused on that platform/devices.

A lot of Delphi programmer need a good introduction to UI and UX paradigms BEFORE jump to web development.  Take my advice here OP.

Quick note: in one interface you'll use a mouse and a keyboard and the other, your fingers, flips orientation etc etc. You got different events, gestures and user behavior. Very soon, it will also change, be gone and all  navigation will be voice activated UX. Guess what language and framework we will use ? None currently in use.

  7. I don't know. I will give it another try and make another version with more resources and features. But, in all cases, it works better in Chrome. All things related to Audio/Video are better with Chrome. Even MS recognized it ! Who am I to disagree ?

I'm in 50th example published here and aiming to 100th before end of the year !

    Bye.

  9. Turns out that perhaps you could make a self signed certificate to avoid the pop-up message:

Will try tomorrow. Lost a lot of time looking for a solution. Such information is not very clear in their website. Not even clear if self-signed certificates works or just trusted by a secure entities to a website only .
    https://qz.io/wiki/signing-messages
Not verfy clear and even the presenter make some mistakes.

Best source is this link below:

I will keep you guys posted if it worked.

    Nice... really nice.

EDIT: Nop !!! At every job a warning security bullshit message pops-up stopping it.  NO use at all unless you pay $500 USD  just to print a f%$$ receipt !
    USELESS !!!

That certificate stuff is a scam to fish lazy programmers. Back to my home made  local printer monkey wrench..

  11. All examples I made has a "ready-to-go" format. Load the projects and hit run. If is not working, is another issue.
Just tried today. Working just fine.

Voices are installed and available within your windows OS and browser. In chrome you have additional voices.  If you can't see any voice loaded, its another issue.

    Use Google Chrome.

  12. This project brought together several resources to improve its interface when using uniGUI. The approach, for example, presents a great advantage and speed of adaptation of the concepts presented to suit your projects.

It has a simple build for buttons that mimic the appearance of the
bootstrap. The advantage of using this CSS file is that not using the Boostrap interface directly and in this way you will avoid several alignment and spacing problems that will arise when using the uniGUI basic controls.

You can combine these css classes with the resurrection of icons of fonts currently existing in the unigui.

And finally, we added the Hover.css class that will create a number of simple animation effects on your Buttons, Labels, Panels, Images etc ... it will practically work on everyone.

  13. Yes. I forgot to mention that. If you have multiple accounts, use the proper address, of course. And sending like that you have a maximum cota, if you thought transforming in a bulk mail sender, forget it.

And, this is obviously a feature that have the days numbered. So don't complain in a year or less from now that's is not working. A lot of other services are restricting sending e-mail from third party software or just turning it off.
