The Streak is Android 2.2 - but it wont play

Both Nokia 810 maemo browser & Symbian on an N95 worked fine.

 

Stumped at the moment..

The Opera Mini Emulator runs under XP and WIn7

loads 'SimpleDemo' but aligns it top and left with the left and top of the form off the screen

Does not exhibit the instant exit that device shows.

 

The Android SDK offers a complete device emulation but I think from what I have found so far it only comes in a Linux flavour.

I have tried your 'SimpleDemo' from the install set.

 

In Dolphin

loads ok but the main window appears 'top aligned' above the top of the screen, so you can't see the top of the form.

If I change the settings in the browser to disable the 'Auto-fit' option then the browser exits as soon as the page loads

 

Default Android browser

Loads fine and nicely scaled & centred on screen but exits as soon as loading completed.

 

Opera Mini

Cant get it to load page at present - not sure why - it was earlier....

(May not be a UniGui Issue) - Have just got a new Dell Streak. Using the Stock Browser, Opera Mini or Dolphin. First page of UniGui App loads and then browser instantly closes.

Anyone seen this / know how to fix ?

A nice instant revenue switch. Build a 'Single user VCL' version and for the correct fee your users can upgrade to a multi user cloud based app !
