Hello Farshad
You are working in 0.85 version and you are redesigning
the classes and fix inheritance issues, but IMHO and for
all that I'm planning to do with UniGui, I think that the
VCL side is not important, I'll use only the web side.
In VCL side I put standard VCL controls to track and
manage the web sessions.
I tell you this because if you decide to remove all VCL
side of components to simplify the development, I will
be happy, anyway.

Hi Farshad,
Do you know when will it be posible to interact between application and
uniframes? It will be great calling javascript function inside uniframe
from main application. Is it planned for ver 1.0 or maybe will be included
sooner?

I do not know if I'm doing something wrong or what, but it doesn't want
to connect. It works on desktop, but not in browser. I moved the
components to MainModule and the problem remains.

Of course, visual components are put on Forms.
Non-visual data aware components can be put on Forms, but it is better to
place them on MainModule.

You won't get a "bpl" related runtime error unless you're using runtime
packages? Are you using runtime packages?

Hello there,
I have been trying to make UniGUI work with dbexpress, but it causes an
AccessViolation error caused by the ExtPascalx.bpl library. Is it
impossible to use dbexpress components with UniGUI?
I use Delphi XE.
Patryk.

When I try to build the "uniGUI15Ex" package (I am using Delphi XE), I
get this error:

What could be causing the error?

Yes, full privilege for cache folder is required.

In the Vcl, delphi own TreeView, TreeView1.item.Count, should be the first
stage the number of nodes. However, the number of nodes
uniTreeview.items.Count all. So a traversal is very troublesome. If I want
to be first-level node traversal, we must traverse all the nodes, and then
look unitreeview.Level = 0 nodes.
If the traversal process, the need to modify the imageindex, very slow, and
the system sometimes error, can all nodes must be expanded = True? but when
expanded = Ture, modify imageindex sometimes error.

Only web side needed (opinion)

i am sure, for your needs the vcl part is not important, but for me is
very importand. I have clients that not like Web versions and other
prefers that. With UniGui i can serve both side of my vertical market
easier.
