Hi,

I wonder if  I can build a web app using datasnap and unigui framework. Is there a demo or tutorial or any instructions that I can have a look?

Thank you very much

Don't waste your time in learning datasnap, it will disappoint you as backend in real life example :-) alternative solution is to use mormot as backend.

That is not neccesary true, the built-in datasnap in Delphi is very powerfull. Try both, and see what suit your needs best.

Guys, it was a simple question regardinging UniGUI + DataSnap, not a request for DataSnap alternatives. :)

Nick, what do you want to do?

I wondered if there is a small demo or tutorial concerning the use of datasnap with unigui.

Thank you

There are a few tutorials in Portugeese.

Here is a one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKSxuwUQROI

If you don't speak Portugese you can at least probably follow with the screencast what he is doing. It is pretty straightforward.

If you are familiar with DataSnap but NOT familiar with UniGUI/Ajax then your biggest obstacle wiill be understanding the architecture of UnIGUI - not the actual process of consuming datasnap services. For this http://unigui.com/resources/online-documentation/developer-manualis excellent.

We use datasnap in our project as  REST server(Datasnap) + WEB (uniGui) Also REST server(Datasnap)+Mobile Application.

main project (HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEM) is desktop application  based on Client / server (Delphi/Oracle) over 20 years.

We add new project that web+mobile based on DATASNAP.

we are satisfied about performance,it is also robust and scaleable.

You can check on demo server in multi language (http://178.238.234.110/meddataweb)

Also check mobile application that connect same server(178.238.234.110) on demo.

You can download mobile application on google play and apple app store that search meddata HIS.

Is it possible to check out the application in order to see what actually can be done with unigui. If so would you provide me with a valid username - password since the ones proposed by the system  seem to be wrong. I get the message dialog  "UserName/Password is incorrect.

Thank you very much

Could you please give me some information about the max concurrent number of users in your system.

Thank you very much
