TUniDBGrid Filtering columns

I cannot find a property in TUniDbGrid that will allow filtering columns in the grid. I looked at the main demo and I can understand that a Hidden panel component is used , but that does not seem to be connected to the HiddenPanel property of the TUniDBGrid and also I don't understand how the various  edits in hidden panel are related to the columns of the Grid.

 

I wonder if someone could help in any way?

For a Column you set a control (Tuniedit if is a text field) on a hidden panel

on column.filtering.editor set the control that is on the hidden panel 

on column.filtering.enable set to true

I was wondering if it was possible to do that dynamically when project is launch ?

The aim is to be able to activate/deactivate the filter line of the columns..

How could I achieve something like that ?

If someone is wondering, I manage to achieve that by playing with 'visible' & 'enabled' properties of uniDBGrid.Columns[x].filtering.Editor whenever I want to show/hide the filter line !!

yes it works! have you also managed to have the filter bar hidden when the uniDBGrid is shown for the first time?
