Hi.

 

where is richedit in unigui?

 

I see in forums, that we must use htmlmemo, but cant move content of my rtf fields to htmleditor (I have postgresql database with bytea fields to store rtf fields).

 

the content when move from the field to the htmlmemo, appears unformatted.

 

any idea?

I'm trying this but can't find the way.

 

If unigui does not work with rich text, I can use htmlmemo.

 

But I need compatibility with my vcl app.

 

I don't know how to domanagr html documents in vcl apps, as unihtmleditor.

I think you need to look for a way conversion RTF to HTML and HTML to RTF.

If unigui doesn't manage rtf, yes.

 

is the only way  to mantain vcl and unigui apps, accesing the same database, during the app migration, that can take many time.

Really want a better solution for using htmlmemo to richedit ---> fastreport

Quickreport not. Richmemo, yes, but not htmlmemo.

 

If Fastreport not, this "not support" of unigui to RTF, could be a problem? For me, currently using QR is a problem. I'll review html to rtf conversion, but this does not make any sense, doing conversions between formats before printing.
