Almodovar Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I don't understand, I've got another standaloneserver and listen every networks but I can't do that my last application listen another networks than the server subnet. Firewall and antivirus are off.
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted October 20, 2015 Administrators Posted October 20, 2015 Can you give example for your subnet address that you want to be listened
Almodovar Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 Hi Farshad This standalone server listen from localhost and 172.16.10.0/24 (current server IP address subnet) port 8077, but don't respond to 172.16.12.0/24 subnet. I've got another tests standalone server running over port 8080 and listen all subnets without problems. Thanks
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted October 20, 2015 Administrators Posted October 20, 2015 You must make sure port 8077 is accessible from the Internet. Some routers need to create a rule for each port.
Almodovar Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 Thanks, I don't understand why but the server without firewall and antivirus,... block the port, finally it run ok on another sever.
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted October 22, 2015 Administrators Posted October 22, 2015 A router does not direct incoming traffic to any specific PC in your LAN unless you have created necessary mapping rules in your router.
