Guest Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Message from: "Sergio" Hi Farshad, I have a question regarding the future licencisng model: Ext JS actual licenses for commercial use are only valid for V3.X, but you will need to purchase it again when V4.X is out if you pretend to upgrade, and sure we will need to upgrade when unigui moves to V4. Do you think the final V1.0 of uniGUI will be ExtJS V4 compatible (or even V4 will be mandatory) so we don't need to buy it twice? Thanxs in advance, Sergio. . Quote

If you buy ExtJS 4.0 you can use all prior versions including 3.x. There is a pre-sale for Ext JS 4.0, but unfortuanetly you can't buy it without support option. It costs $476 including support. > Do you think the final V1.0 of uniGUI will be ExtJS V4 compatible (or > even V4 will be mandatory) so we don't need to buy it twice? > Maybe, but it doesn't matter. You can buy ExtJS 4 license and use UniGUI with whatever Ext JS version is uses. Regards, Farshad Mohajeri . Quote
