Hello,

As we have recently replaced our computer, we need to deactivate the Uniqui license from the old device and activate it on the new one.

Could you please advise us on the procedure for transferring the license and reactivating it on the new computer?

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards,

Hello,

Please refer to the installation documentation for the exact steps.

In general, when moving a uniGUI license to a new computer, you should uninstall uniGUI and remove the related installation folders from the old machine, then install uniGUI on the new machine and generate a new license key there.

Also note that, according to the license agreement, the same licensed user may install and use uniGUI on more than one computer, provided that the software is used exclusively by that licensed user and not concurrently by multiple users.

It has been quite a long time since I last performed this type of installation, so I have forgotten some of the details. Since I will be formatting my old computer and handing it over to someone else after the migration is complete, I am currently transferring all of my Delphi licenses one by one.

I wanted to check whether there are any additional details I should be aware of during the license removal process, such as specific steps or precautions that should be taken before uninstalling or deactivating the licenses.

Thank you for the information and guidance. If I encounter any issues during the installation or migration process, I will reach out again.

There are no special deactivation steps required.

Before uninstalling uniGUI and removing the installation folder, make sure you don't have any modified demos, custom files, third-party libraries, or other resources stored inside the uniGUI directory that you may want to keep. Back up anything important first.

After that, you can uninstall uniGUI from the old machine, install it on the new one, and generate a new license key there. If you encounter any activation issues, FMSoft support can assist you.
