MikeMike Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 Hi! I have recently upgraded my PC hardware and now Im getting multiple errors with UniGUI: when starting Delhi IDE, I see "Verification failed" when opening a project, I see "Property MonitoredKeys.Keys does not exist" and the same for some other properties. If the licence is binded to hardware its a bit ridiculous cause in the modern word we can often change hardware, work from different places even from VPS , or , for example of my particular case, when travelling I use to carry only SSD disk with me , and plug it in any PC I can find around Quote
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted March 11, 2025 Administrators Posted March 11, 2025 Hi, Please reinstall unigui with a fresh key you get from portal during installation. Unigui protection is sensitive to hardware changes. Quote

It won't work from a SSD unless you carry a full VM in your portable SSD. Quote

Yes, but how frequent does this happen? Or how does your CPU change? uniGUI is licensed to installed on multiple PC which belongs to you or solely used by you. So for example, a portable development environment is generally a portable PC which you are licenses to install uniGUI along with your desktop PC(s). Quote

After reinstalling there is no more "Verification failed" when starting the IDE, but there are still errors when loading a project "Property MonitoredKeys.Keys does not exist" and so on. Should I clean from Delphi first, and where do I found a manual how to reinstall it properly? Quote
MikeMike Posted March 12, 2025 Author Posted March 12, 2025 or should I recompile packages in Delphi after reinstalling? Quote

You can create a copy of uniGUI folder and restore it each time you return to your original PC. Key files are stored under uniGUI folder. Quote

Could you please change the verification process somehow so that the licence which I bought from you, will be related to the owner (me) but not to my CPU ID or some other hardware info? I think you understand that people buy your soft not because it can't be cracked but because they respect your work Quote
MikeMike Posted September 13, 2025 Author Posted September 13, 2025 There is also a problem with EAppUniGUI. Im solvining it each time I have to reinstall Unigiu, but this time seems that my solution doesn't work: Quote
MikeMike Posted September 13, 2025 Author Posted September 13, 2025 By the way I found that the EAppUniGUI problem is related to the order in which UniGIU and Eurekalog are installed, because this unit is in both packages and it differs. That one shipped with Eureka does NOT compile (both are latest release versions) Quote
MikeMike Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 I waited one year hoping the team to be able to solve the problem(( Quote
MikeMike Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 Once again the issue is: each time I change hardware the library gives me plenty of problems. Despite I have bouught it. Please friends it should not work such way Quote

We are not protecting the software from regular buyers, but from those who buy for purpose of cracking or distributing in warez sites. Quote

Something that you would do with each new build that we publish frequently. Quote
MikeMike Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 But you could fix the protection mechanism. Atleast crackers are able to do it Once again let me explain: Just reinstalling uniGUI does NOT WORK. Errors screenshots included in this topic. Also i dont need new build i just want to have working installation without issues is that so hard ? Quote

This one is related to incompatibility raised in recent versions of 3rd party Eurekalog. We will try to fix this. You can temporarily fix by removing unit EAppUniGUI from uses list (Which means you won't be able to use Eurekalog, but your app will continue compiling) Quote
Frederick Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Hi Farshad, I would also appreciate it if you could look at my post ( for the compatibility problems of EAppUniGUI with Eurekalog). Nobody from technical support has responded to it. My thinking is that if you use Eurekalog as an example in your user's manual, I would expect that UniGUI's support files be kept compatible with current versions of Eurekalog. Hint: You may want to consider exploring if MadExcept can be used with UniGUI as well. Quote
