Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted November 5, 2013 Administrators Posted November 5, 2013 Finally it is here... I knew that many of you are waiting for the new version for a long time. Several factors caused this long delay. Main factor here is radical changes in component core system of uniGUI. Let me explain changes and new features in 0.94: SSL support This feature is supported using Indy's built-in SSL support. SSL support is for Standalone and Service modes of deployment. For ISAPI you need to activate and use SSL feature of your web server which varies from server to server. Please refer to included PDF doc for SSL configuration and deployment details LoginForm Feature Until now many of developers were using their own methods to implement login screens. These methods weren't best, as each has some weaknesses. Now uniGUI brings a built-in way to start your app displaying a Login form which is displayed before your MainForm. This will ensure your MainForm will not be loaded into browser until user provides correct credentials. This will hide and secure your MainForm and your app from unauthorized JavaScript attacks which was possible if you hide your MainForm behind a secondary modal login form. Always On Top Windows This is a new feature which is self-explanatory. New Component System This one is the biggest change that comes with 0.94. The component system is completely redesigned which will highly simplify job of component developers. First of all, ExtPascal components are removed from the component system. We no longer have TExtButton, TExtGrid, TExtPanel and etc. ExtPascal is still used internally in an abstracted level which is hidden from developers. Instead of using ExtPascal's component class uniGUI has its own way of creating new components. You need to review CustomControl-1 and CustomControl-1 demos to see how new components are created and integrated into framework. I will add more demos in future builds. As a side affect of this new component system, uniGUI third party components based of ExtPascal will no longer work. Those components must be adopted to work with version 0.94. If your project is depended to one of such third party components you must wait until original developer of the component adopts it. Another big change is complete separation of VCL mode from web mode. VCL mode components will not compile with your web app code. For example Chart component doesn't need Tee chart VCL components anymore. VCL Mode VCL mode is gone! At least for now. In version 0.94 there will be no active VCL mode. All projects will be created in Standalone mode by default. We may re-visit VCL mode in version 0.95. New component system completely separates VCL and Web modes. Note: Please completely remove any previous version of uniGUI including all related folders before installing 0.94. Changelog: 0.94.0.1021+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0001492: TUniDBGrid: JS bug when Grid is hidden and Column header has attributes.- 0001489: Pen and Brush are not inited in UniCanvas.- 0001486: CPP Issues in 0.94.- 0001484: UniServerModule Options Property.- 0001483: Ext JS 4.2.1 Support.- 0000595: SSL Support.- 0001359: Always on top windows.- 0001340: LoginForm Feature.- 0001464: Value property for NumberEdit(s).- 0001474: UniMenuButton events are not published.- 0001476: TUniToolButton: tbsDropDpwn style.- XE5 Support- New Demo: CustomControl-1- New Demo: CustomControl-2- New Demo: CustomControl-3- New Demo: CustomControl-4- New Demo: LoginForm- New Demo: SSL Demo Important: After upgrading to build 1014 you must do the following for your existing uniGUI projects: Open Main.pas then add uniGUIRegClasses to uses units list. uses Windows, Messages, SysUtils, Variants, Classes, Graphics, Controls, Forms, Dialogs, uniGUITypes, uniGUIAbstractClasses, uniGUIClasses, uniGUIForm, uniGUIBaseClasses, uniGUIRegClasses; //<------------ Add this For CPP users only: Open Main.cpp file. Add #include <UniGUIRegClasses.hpp> Modify __RegisterMainFormClass() as shown below: void __RegisterMainFormClass() { Uniguivars::RegisterAppFormClass(__classid(TMainForm)); Uniguiregclasses::CPPInit(); //<------ Add this } Above modifications are only needed for existing project. New projects won't need this.

Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted November 5, 2013 Author Administrators Posted November 5, 2013 Hi, Download Avast virus detect unigui_virus_installer.png False positive.
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted November 5, 2013 Author Administrators Posted November 5, 2013 Build 1013 uploaded. It resolves the installer issue on non-english systems with non-latin codepages. As a result of changes in licensing system you need to issue a new license to install 1013.
