Is there a chance to have an lets say an extended pagemode like "mfOnlyPage", where the navigationbar of the browser is hidden. This opens the chance to develope application running in a browser, but have the look and feeling of a destop applications. I'm not JS specialist, maybe its easy, maybe its impossible. What do you think? Uwe . Quote

A shortcut like this produces a chrome window with no controls. path\to\chrome\chrome.exe --app=http://yourappaddress:port "Uwe" wrote in message news:N%23Vs6cauLHA.2720@anaxagvs227... > Hi Farshad, > > i have a more architectual question. > > Is there a chance to have an lets say an extended pagemode like > "mfOnlyPage", where the navigationbar of the browser is hidden. > This opens the chance to develope application running in a browser, but > have the look and feeling of a destop applications. > > I'm not JS specialist, maybe its easy, maybe its impossible. > > > What do you think? > > Uwe . It depends on the browser. Not all browsers allow you to change its layout. I think it is better to leave to the user. As Harry stated in another post, using Chrome in Application mode is a good solution. . Quote

URL means you can have the navbar or not. I'm looking for something independent from the URL.
