How to search and select row from DBGrid

Im trying to search a one column grid, name values. Whats the best way to find and scroll the grid so that the found item is visible?

Changing DataSet cursor should be enough. However, if the row is not visible Grid may not be scrolled automatically.

I had this same issue. I located the record in the underlying dataset and it was selected in the grid, however the selection was not showing unless it was in the top rows. How do you make the grid show the current record.
