CastleSoft Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Hi, How do you loop through multi-select on the ListBox or Grid controls ? In a VCL form Grid I could do the following: var i : Integer; begin with DBGrid1.DataSource.DataSet do begin for i := 0 to DBGrid1.SelectedRows.Count-1 do begin GotoBookmark(Pointer(DBGrid1.SelectedRows.Items)); Edit1.Text := Edit1.Text + ',' + DBGrid1.DataSource.DataSet.FieldByName('Username').Value; end; end; For ListBoxes I could use: var i: integer; begin edit1.Text := ''; for i := 0 to ListBox1.Count - 1 do begin if ListBox1.Selected then Edit1.Text := edit1.Text + ',' + ListBox1.Items; end; UniDBGrid is missing the SelectedRows property. UniListBox is missing Selected property. Any ideas ? Thanks Andrew
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted March 29, 2012 Administrators Posted March 29, 2012 Hi, UniDBGrid doesn't support multi-selection yet.
CastleSoft Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 Hi, UniDBGrid doesn't support multi-selection yet. Any idea when multi-select will be available ? And will it be added to ListBox soon ? (Doesn't have to be database aware) Thanks Andrew

CastleSoft Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 Issue number is #841. I increased its priority. Thanks... ListBox (non db aware - multi-select would be nice in the next build ??)
CastleSoft Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 Issue number is #841. I increased its priority. Any idea when the next release will be ? (and if #841) will be included ? (I plan on using this for a teacher event recorder at our school) Thanks..
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted April 3, 2012 Administrators Posted April 3, 2012 I will look at the complexity of implementation. I'll let you know which version.
Administrators Farshad Mohajeri Posted April 4, 2012 Administrators Posted April 4, 2012 I schedule it for 0.90.0. Remind me if I forget.
