type of Uniedit or field

Hello, i have a grid coneccted with a table and dataset. the type of some fields in the grid are Datetime or Date, others numeric and others string.

¿ is there any property in the fields that reflect the type of field ? So when i modify the data in the field controls the content.

Maybe, i explain me very bad.

 

I would like to know if there is a type of Uniedit for integers, other for floats and anoter for strings or i need a function that controls this.
