convert uploaded files to PDF

Hi .. 

i found powerShell-Scrips to convert doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx  into PDF-Files

What do you think is the best way (on which event ..) to do a converting?

Why need to convert? In forum, has a sample for open this document with out installed office. Or if and user (client site) need this file can download this doc file.

converting the file at uploading would speed up the later viewing - and the server cpu is not used so hard if users are looking at files ;-)

..and it could work allso with emails :-)
