dbGrid column index

[MOGSY]

Hi

 

for dbgrid at run time, it is possible to set the width, visible, however index has no effect and column position will stay as it was specified on the select statement.

       

 

      works

           aDataSet.FieldByName(aField).Visible := True;

           aDataSet.FieldByName(aField).DisplayWidth := aWdt;

 

     do not work

           aDataSet.FieldByName(aField).Index := aIndx;
