I Create a cache folder with 777 permisión in e:\www\xxxxx\cache\.

I run application with: http://www.xxxxx.net/cgi-bin/Project3.dll

And obtain this message:

Cannot create file

'e:\www\xxxxx\cache\Project3\s6SFJN6WxnQS9\app_main_icon.png'. El

You must be sure that built-in IIS accounts IWAM_XX and IUSR_XX have enough

full access right on cache folder.

Where do you get the 777 info from?

You can right click on the folder, select Sharing and Security then go to

Security tab to make necessary adjustments.

I don´t have access to "right click". I access to folder thru ftpclient

and put rights for r(ead)w(rite)x(execute) for all

users(Owner,group,all=777 in unix format).

That method may not set the proper permissions. NTFS is different than unix

FS and not all FTP clients do it in a correct way when they change

permissions on a non-unix FS.

Can you verify that below folder is created?

e:\www\xxxxx\cache\Project3\

OK. Now verify that session folder and images are created in that folder.

Session folder is something like this:

e:\www\xxxxx\cache\Project3\s6SFJN6WxnQS9\

It depends on the computer name. If you computer name is PC1 then:

IWAM_PC1

IUSR_PC1

It's a shared host with right for execute isapi in a /cgi-bin folder.

I run in it other delphi isapi without problems.

I talk about this with my master web administator for view rights in

cache folder. After this I post results in this mail list.

This is very true.

I lost more of five hours trying to give permissions (chmod 777) via ftp and never worked.

Then, using the phpAdmin of webhost, I managed to set up the permissions and now it works.
