ExtPascal and Unigui apps on the same machine

Hi Farshad

Maybe you can help me with something.

I have a macine with Delphi 7 on it. I'm not allowed to install BDS2006

there, and therefore cant install UniGui. So I have been looking at

Extpascal itself.

What I have found is that if I start a UniGUI app like my Issue tracker and

then start a Extpascal - Indy embedded server app on the same machine, the

Extpascal app kills the UniGUI app until I restart it.

When I try to connect to my UniGUI app I recieve :

X-----------------

This web page is not available

The web page at http://localhost:8077/ might be temporarily down or it may

have moved permanently to a new web address.

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error.

Until I restart my UniGUI app.

Hi Jason,

Weird! Even if two exes are on same port, you can't kill one exe by running

another exe. Can you look in unigui app's log folder to see if anything is

logged?

Hmm thats interesting, if I open the unigui app in explorer and the

ExtPascal app in Chrome, they work fine..

Do you think there may be some sort of wierd cookie-clash or socket binding

problem ?
