How to start session with somekind of ID?

I haven't found the answer so go with this question.

 

I need to start the session with the any ID and don't know how to do that? Please help

 

Generally I have an application for many of my clients - to be precise for clients of my clients - it is all on my, one, server.

So my clients on their web pages provide the link to my program (somekind of scheduler, registration) and I would like to include in that link some ID (GUID) to know the context of which of my client application is open.

 

Please help how to construct that link and where in the program read it?
