  5. In fact, it works with a data model of more usual words in a language. Then, they made a good algort, to figure it out. And return codes. No big deal, but I tried to do EXACTLY this some years ago (we speak portuguese down here and this is a issue) but only work with main languages and poorly. This came across, keep it then a some one need it and voilá. Was lost in my HD for years. Get JS source at https://richtr.github.com/guessLanguage.js/ Surely you can do even better. The flag and some little updates were the tricky part. See another examples below. To me, I could never figure it out. Farsi from arabic ? No way.
  6. Hi Folks... I've been learning/taking classes a lot, of/for JS and frameworks and finishing the third book. Hence, my lack of projects. Now I hate JavaScript with all my heart the SOB who made this, were really high in something. Soon, I be back to release a lot of stuff for free here (1-2 days free download to unigui subscribers only, like always). Next, release Amazon S3 Integration Project.
  7. No.. all JS. You should have at least a phrase with some 6-ish word ... some, are more easy to guess by the algo. like french, portuguese, english, but the other stuff, just blow my mind. More text, more precise. And is fast ! All the other stuff I found were API/Service dependent. That is the reason I pickup this one for a project. I just made the consulting and put together the demo code for their project. I have no product with this.
  8. Features Detect on-the-fly 100 languages in native format (Latin, cyrilic, Arabic, Chinese etc). Pay Attention ! You might think that this is an easy task but this "little beast of code" can detect native text in their native alphabet format and sub-languages and returns all the code you need. Got it ? By far, is the best and lightest JS lib to detect "as you type" or probe a small amount of text and get the info. Return Language's name (in English), Code Abbreviation (initials) and IANA Numeric Code. This projects has a HTML pure format adapted to uniHTML Frame and uniGUI using native controls. Very easy to modify and customize I re-coded all flags to respective associated languages ( since that some countries you might have more than one language) like Canada and vice-versa (like Brazil and Portugal, EUA, AUS, NZ and England etc). You can change flags code to show your country, if you want. For instance, you can show the Aussie flag instead England. Flag's icons all proportional to real flags formats in png format. No third party components. All source-code included for Delphi/Pascal/uniGUI. No hidden costs or fees. Yes, we offer advice on adapting any of these examples to your systems. Contact us to receive a quote. uniGUI project has more features since you can just search some text to get a result. Very easy to adapt to any project. Demo Video DEMO1 DEMO1 See all bout it at this link below https://www.unigui.com.br/TextLanguageDetection.html
  10. And yes ! I had and used Intraweb since the first version, Defunct CGI-Expert (D7) , Kylix, then moved to PHP (Prism) then pure PHP, .NET (Delphi.. remember?), Oxygen (the Delphi transformer), and got back to Delphi with uniGUI since 2016, but more in support/consulting now. And now in a hate/love relation with JavaScript since uniGUI made it obligatory. uniGUI is the perfect tool to web using Delphi since you can make simple but very sophisticated things without deep knowledge of JS and can get PRO combining both. Much more than Intraweb from 10 years ago. But being fair, Intraweb is making some progress like code injection more easy and frameworks integration. So... its not all that black and white. (Replicating PM messages... )
  11. Another interesting point: I made a side-by-side screen comparison to make a CRUD example as simple test case since they are Intraweb users (no big stuff). And some Embarcadero's MVP in Brazil had paid a visit to show them the IW wonders and how they must learn React to use with IW. And how uniGUI only works with Ext.JS and were its Achilles' heels etc etc. In two minutes I got a random page, uniURLFrame, and show how ajaxRequest works ... not more discussions. Is well known here how the MVPs are "ATOZED representatives" and talk trash about uniGUI. It's not the first time that I got walking into their trails.
  12. FYI... the reason for such consulting was, since they had all lot of stuff in Delphi (old and new projects) and bad experience with Intraweb, they are planning to move away from this old app and make a new version, but for windows / IIS only. It's very interesting seeing a real world scenario and their "in-flesh" opinion on Apache Server/solution, distros and all the problems with support and TI staff. They will buy a uniGUI license and move all to IIS, cloud etc etc etc.
  13. Yesterday I was visiting a |(corp.) client and they use Unbutu for one particular app only active. The IT manager and others, they told me about the problems they are facing making softwares updates and improving their in house application, lack of dev personal, no support etc. All because some wise IT guy in the early 2000's said it was the way to save money. From some one (me) who spent 6 months making a product (with Kylix) and not selling one single license when the same windows version was a complete success, I DO guarantee: don't waste your time "devin" to final users solution using linux in any project. The "not selling" result were because the linux community, at that time, thought all software should be "open source" and by open source, they understood as free, like in "free meal". But, In house apps, well... if you gonna make a niche project and a client for ever, is the way to go. Just my two cents...
  14. It's not me... Linus Torvalds said ! Hence, the "U" in uniGUI will always have issues. And is not about filenames/folder name cases or paths only. All browsers for Linux has issues. That's why all big corps using it always makes some rules regarding distros, browsers and what not's. Another more deep explaining about it
  15. Best solution: 1- https://jsontodelphi.com/ Paste your JSon example and it will generate all code and units to use it in your Delphi project in the best way available. (It's a "Marlon Nardin"'s project. You can get in touch with him at this very forum). 2- In your Delphi Project declare the units downloaded from the website and just use as a regular class. 3- There is no better solution than this one to Delphi/JSon, regarding accessing/importing JSon data to your project. It should be native to RAD IDE tool's case. 4- Se Dataset Serializer at GitHub (https://github.com/viniciussanchez/dataset-serialize-adapter-restrequest4delphi) that provide more powerful features and manipulating JSon as a regular Table. 5- Learn to use JS function JSON.stringify() and ajaxRequest, in all of its mess with uniURLFrame, and HTMLFrame. That's all you need to move data between webbrowser, forms and Delphi (unigui) tables and DB logic. I'm working on a new book all about those topics and more.
  16. 1-Just read the uniGUI manual: http://unigui.com/doc/online_help/generate_a_self-signed_certifi.htm?zoom_highlightsub=certificate 2- Get a tutorial video on how domains, network and certificates works. Available in youtube 3- Self-sign, domain intranet will work IN YOUR INTRANET. Outside connection, nop. TLDR; Local, you can create. Domains, nop. That is basic of the basic. Use cloudflare. You can do more than that.
  17. Inject your json data at the chart example data. You can use unisession.addjs... Is very simple to customize.
  18. I lost the domain. See all at the original https://www.unigui.com.br Same thing. This as just a redirection
  19. If you download all related files, yes. No problems.
  20. All projects are for sale at https://unigui.com.br Soon, uniguiexpress.com will be back on-line.
  21. Be back on-line soon. Meanwhile, https://unigui.com.br/ Same website.
